GLYCOLIC PEEL

Glycolic Acid belongs to a family of naturally occurring constituents known as Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs).Glycolic Acid is a derivative of sugar cane juice and comes in various strengths. Some Glycolic Acids may be diluted with other constituents and are known as buffered. Full strength Glycolic Acid is known as a Free Acid and is more intense.

AHAs are used within the Beauty and Medical industry as a skin rejuvenating treatment and are called Glycolic Acid Skin Peels.  They work by penetrating the superficial layer of the Epidermis thus removing dead skin cells (the horny layer) revealing fresh new skin and promoting cell renewal and collagen production. Skin will become thicker, plumper, and tauter with a smoother more vibrant appearance.

Glycolic Acid Peels are used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles; sun damaged and pigmented skin, mild scarring caused by acne, acne, uneven skin tone and dry skin. They require a committed course of treatment and the results are maintained by the use of professional skin care products for home use. The correct products are essential and are part on the ongoing treatment to maintain the results of the “peel”

Glycolic Skin Peels are an investment into “beautiful new skin”.

Take care of it and always use a SPF of at least 15!
